theforcefield.net is a portal for IT service providers, computer system builders, VARs an other IT professionals who are starting, managing or growing their business. Its mission is to provide service providers a central source of information, support and tools to start, maintain and grow their business.
What is the purpose of the website?
Our goal is to educate, guide and inform service providers about every aspect of the IT industry and provide resources to help them accomplish their goals.
Anyone who currently works or plans to enter the IT industry as a business owner, entrepreneur or Independent Contractor, including sole proprietors, computer repair professionals, computer shops, installers, service providers, system builders, system integrators and VARs are elegible for membership.
What are the advantages of membership?
Membership is optional, however, it does allow access to the Members Only area of the site. Members can access the directories, participate in the Marketplace, post in the forums, and utilize other tools.
No. Membership in The Force Field is free to all qualified applicants. Of course, if you would like to donate to the site we won't turn it down, however it is not a requirement.
Are there requirements for membership?
The only requirement for membership at this time is an interest or dedication to the field. We do ask that you help foster a community environment based on collaboration.
