We are still having issues with the Force Field Forum login for some members who are unable to login with their username and password after migration to the new forum software. They can still access the main site but can no longer login to the forums with the same username and password.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, when the forums were migrated over some of the login information did not convert properly\u00a0 which caused the issue. I personally experienced the issue as well and had to manually convert and reset the login information for myself and all of the admins in order for us to access the new forums.<\/p>\n
Many of the forum members who are regulars have been able to get their login reset and access the forums, however those who are checking in for the first time since the move are now encountering issues logging in.<\/p>\n
We can still access login information from the old forums for awhile which are no longer online to manually process individual accounts, however we plan to update the rest of the site within the next few months and the old system will be going away. When that happens, it may be necessary for those who still have login issues to have their accounts reset.<\/p>\n
I want to resolve the issue before then. If you haven’t logged into the forums in the last 90 days and are unable to do so now, please e-mail forums@theforcefield.net or private message me or one of the other admins on the main site to let us know and we will get it taken care of.<\/p>\n
