AHA!!  I know why that alexa sounded so familiar - it installs a spyware BHO if you use the toolbar. And it often installs the BHO without consent from other websites, etc.

Give you something better - IE6 used Alexa code (after Microsoft bought them!) for a few of its functions, so a lot of antimalware programs would kill IE6 due to removing that ...

I don't think I've seen it pre-loaded, but it comes with a hijacker that 64 bit vista and w7 are vulnerable to. Sometimes even with tdl4 rootkit. And its always with a fake coupon program

That's why that name sounded so familiar to me as well- that stupid toolbar!

aaaahhh that one.... I hate toolbars!!! :( well at least the malicious ones!
I hate toolbars malicious or not.

Me too. They are all malicious as far as I am concerned.

I also hate users who complain their PC is too slow, then you look at IE and it has 10 toolbars loaded. I saw one with 2 inches of tool bars, no exaggeration.
Like this?

Holy cow, that person needs their computer user rights removed !!
