US Internet Access
edpallo:
Okay a really stupid question from a frozen Canadian:
I'll be vacationing in Myrtle Beach in February and the condo complex I'll be in does not have Internet access. My provider (Bell Canada) charges outrageous rates for US access. Are there any simple, short term, economical solutions for Internet access "in the condo"?
Todd Hughes:
OK, I'll say it: Hack the neighbor's wireless?
Not sure of other alternatives short of hanging out at Starbucks when you want to get on-line. Anybody else?
Arctic:
Look up local providers in the area.
Check and see if the condo has cable and if it does call the local cable company. they will hook ya up.
bfarmer:
Verizon wireless prepaid jetpack

You meant to say "borrow" a neighbors unsecured wireless account.
Hacking is a terrible word but borrowing isnt. :cheeky:
