They just figured that out?

(CNN) -- If you're using a fake name on your Facebook account, maintaining a personal profile for your beloved pet or have a second profile you use just for logging in to other sites, you have one of the 83.09 million fake accounts Facebook wants to disable.

Some time ago I remember this thing going around on facebook of how when they die they want someone to take their facebook password, get into their account and change it to "Is dead" but keep it live. Its amazing the things that have came and gone on facebook.

And the stock continues to drop...

Yep. I have a sister that has 4 or 5 at least. And not a one is even remotely about her. Or anything of any value either.

That is a problem in of it's self.  I know of several accounts for dead people on FB and LinkedIn.  In many cases they are simply abandoned because no one knows or cares how to contact FB and get it removed.   In other cases a spouse may have access to the account but can't bring themselves to pull the plug so to speak on the account.  People even still post to it knowing full well the person is dead.     Either that or the afterlife has a great Wifi hotspot.....
