Parrish:
I always have been, and still am, a big proponent of IIS.  Sure, in the early iterations IIS had some gaping security issues- most of which where the result of extremely security poor default settings and administrators that didn't know/care how to properly configure it.  Now, especially with IIS 7.5, it's an entirely different ballgame.  A default install of IIS 7.5 is more secure than a default install of LAMP- which has been evidenced as of late with that nasty bug infecting LAMP servers.

Yeah, go ahead and slam me Parrish. The thing is, if there is a security hole found in Apache it'll be patched within hours, can't say the same for proprietary software.   :wink:

Hmmmmm cant say Apache patches all of their secuity holes in hours either... unless you mean thousands of hours...
