CES 2011 - New Products

(1/4) > >>

Rick Savoia:
What new products unveiled at CES do you think are the most or least interesting?

The PopDrive looks very cool. It's an external RAID device with two mirrored drives.  If you lose a drive, simply open the enclosure, pull out the bad drive, slide in the new one and an on-board chip copies the data over to the new drive.

You can watch the live stream with product demos at http://www.theforcefield.net. It is the next best thing to being there.

Tom Bozeman:
It is not really new, but I really want one of those Microsoft Surface devices.

They are coming out with a more affordable one later this year.

I cannot justify a $12K toy right now.

But I can just see that thing as my coffee table.

Apparently it is not being pushed real hard at CES, but Microsoft did speak about it.

Yes, that would be cool. But I am going to wait until they release the after market accessories like a beer holder and built-in ashtrays

I don't think it will be very long until this are mass produced as coffee tables. Screen saver can be changed to match any decor.

Arctic:
I want one of them too.

It would be cool to throw pics and email onto the table top.
